â€œMiss Lillianâ€™s Tradition: Older Americans in the Peace Corps.â€ This exhibition show traces the legacy of â€œMiss Lillianâ€ and the experiences of older Americans who have served as Peace Corps volunteers.
I am exceedingly fortunate to have friends and family who can best be described as young women over 60. These â€œgirlsâ€ may be chronologically older adults, but they are in great physical shape and have interests and attitudes of women half their age.
As the earliest boomers turn 60, it is worth learning from the example of these women. What makes them tick is interesting and important.
