As you can see from the Introductions, students take CIS50 with a very broad range of backgrounds and expectations as far as this course is concerned. We have computer science majors and general interest lifelong learners. This makes the course really interesting and challenging at the same time.
Just a reminder that you will have to take responsibility for your own learning. It is ok if you don’t understand everything – you can’t possibly as the field of Information Systems is enormous. Some of the discussions may get quite technical. Others may seem pretty basic, but they are important to the folks who are new to information systems concepts and terminology.
