Search assignments are intended to help you understand the topic by looking at a range of resources – the ones you find and review and the ones that others in the class review.
Starting with a Google search is fine. That can be a bit overwhelming. You can just pick one of the results provided. That is ok, but it is better if you look at several and pick something “interesting”. If you just pick one of the first 10 results, you may provide the same link as someone else – points are deducted for duplicates.
The other benefit of this type of assignment is the flexibility – something for everyone. What is interesting for you is likely different than what someone else selects. As the course progresses, you can add to your Google search to explore topics of personal interest.
