This is a follow on to the activity in Week 2 where you created your own WikiEducator.org account and page.

Your page is a good start

Now, for the Lifecycle project, you need to copy what you post in the Lifecycle discussion each week, and paste that into your WikiEducator page.

To do this, log in to WikiEducator, display your page, and click on the Edit link at the top of the page display. This will bring up the edit view. Paste your Lifecycle discussion post text and save. Now your page should include the new text.

By working on this each week, you will become familiar with using WikiEducator for compiling and displaying your work. This is important preparation for the final projects collaboration and presentation.

The other important deliverable is your own Lifecycle Information System project outline. We add a new piece to the Lifecycle Information System each week that reflects the development phase we are exploring. By the end of the course, you will have a fairly complete outline of the development of your information system.

There are online references, help and tutorials.

as well as a practice area

This is a new way of working for many students, so others are unsure of these activities as well. But WikiEducator is not difficult to learn to use, and the results are impressive. I encourage you to spend time learning to use some of the formatting tools. They can be used to make your WikiEducator pages look attractive and really professional.

Hope this helps. If you have further questions, please ask.
