Part of the problem
This article is a bit formal, but it gets at the disconnect between most parents and teachers, and kids. Not sure how you would work this into the book but it needs to be addressed.
If parents get these ideas, that would help them understand and support and help their kids.
Educators are all over the map so parents may be supporting a teacher who understands, or parents may be helping a child deal with teaching that is out of touch with today’s reality.
